 Craft Beer will never become old fashion! The elaborate way in which we manufacture craft beer today has,the cost of doing business is the reason why. The antiquated conventional way of brewing beer has become too expensive as a result of rising costs,  consequently the craft beer is suffering  and is no longer economically feasible.  Many breweries are closing worldwide and the abundance  of used conventional equipment available is  evidence that the craft beer industry requires a new direction.   We believe craft beer is something worth saving and has inspired the Odyssey Brewmaster offers innovation & science as the solution to this global problem facing the craft beer industry.  Fundamentally improving the entire brewing process and distribution system  is the way in which the Odyssey Brewmwaster improves the profitability of the finished product that is made and sold on the premises.

Odyssey Brewmaster is a completely new approach to micro-brewing beer, one that is more appropriate for our new world and is not as industrial in nature and just makes more sense for reducing overhead. The inspiration for this disruptive new design comes from the  disruptive book by  Jason Hickel  "Less is More"  in which he believes the key to saving the planet involves reducing the resources needed to produce the products that we consume, like beer. Identifying  conservation rather than capitalism as the key to sustainability in all industries that require resources from the earth. In essence doing more with less resources and that is essentially the purpose of the Odyssey Brewmaster.  The breakthrough new system is designed to replace long standing brewing traditions in favor of less overhead, higher profit and more automation. There's no magic involved with the Odyssey Brewmaster,  it simply performs all the essential conventional brewing functions in a way that just makes more sense in term of  functionality and practicality. To create a better solution requires different thinking,  it's a rational that differs from conventional wisdom, and based on the unfounded notion that dictates that craft beer production requires a very labor intensive approach requiring an elaborate array of large vessels required to make it all happen. The  Odyssey Brewmaster design  redefines craft beer brewing with a clean sheet design that  fundamentally changes equipment requirements to be much less than conventional brewing systems.  The radical brewery design improves everything about the brewing process while limiting the things that require money, time and work. It directly addresses  the factors directly responsible for improving the economics of the craft beer industry.  The Odyssey Brewmaster brewing system utilizes "Outside the Box"  innovative solutions, while also implementing less costly natural solutions that contribute to a higher quality craft beer. Higher quality and self life is directly contributed toour exclusive closed system brewing technique.


All the important conventional brewing  processes are now performed in a smaller 80 sq/ft physical space.  It is internally plumbed and remote controlled so there's no need to hook up brewer hoses to move hot fluids to and from various vessels, this reduces work and the inherent hazards involved in the conventional brewing process. There is no wasted product or time when brewing beer with the Odyssey Brewmaster , it seamlessly moves from one brewing function to the next  with a push of button. The closed sanitized brewing system uses fewer vessels to complete the process and therefore less vessels to clean in this very streamlined brewing system. The system is revolutionary because much of the traditional work is bypassed which results in a faster, more efficient way to produce the world class craft beer it makes. These features make a real impact on the bottom line of brewing craft beer and long term profitability of this new craft beer business model. Introducing the world's first completely integrated   550 liter Brewery Pod (145 Gallon) microbrewery. The entire  brewing system is founded  on one simple design principle:

 " Less is More" .  This principle is evident throughout this advanced and cost-effective brewing alternative that adapts to the particular needs of the establishment , including the cost-effective expansion of production capacity as required.


The reduced  Water consumption, Fewer vessels and Energy requirements are  the key features that underscore the higher efficiency of the Odyssey Brewmaster .


This departure from conventional wisdom is best illustrated by it's much smaller physical size,  the entire 145 gallon brew house has been reduced down to a 80 square foot platform called the "Brewery Pod". It sets a new industry standard for micro-brewery space efficiency, convenience and overall value. We went large on thinking small and fundamentally changed everything in the process, creating an improved brewing system from start to finish by slashing the resources and money required to manufacture it on the premises. Substantial cost saving is achieved by focusing on factors that add the greatest cost to the brewing process.  Large cost expenditures such as Real estate, Equipment Cost, Energy and Distribution are all addressed in the Odyssey Brewmaster  brewing system. These are the primary financial factors that are currently crippling the once profitable craft beer industry. The Odyssey Brewmaster represents a shift towards higher efficiency, convenience and profitability with this new age eco-friendly brewing alternative. The truth of the matter is that if something no longer works, it must be replaced! Questioning the current way we brew and developing  new alternatives improves the economics without compromising quality is what the Odyssey Brewmaster is all about. The system virtually eliminates installation and infrastructure costs because of the self contained nature of this compact brewery, it's delivered turnkey right out of the  20 ft. shipping container. The unit brewery design is equipped with CSA  world compliant electrical components and it arrives completely assembled ready for international use. 

The compact size  and optional power supplies allows the Odyssey Brewmaster to be the world's first stand alone 550 liter/145 Gallon brewing system, a reality once believed impossible!  It simplifies the brewing process by removing the cooling infrastructure , chiller and the wort's  heat exchange system and replacing it with a far more efficient and natural system of brewing craft beer that brings the craft to higher levels of refinement and taste. Less complexity, resources and labor costs equates to More efficiency and profitability, something new and certainly better than the costly way it's currently manufactured.

 

We improved everything by changing everything from grain to glass. The mission was to use commonsense, practicality and ingenuity to guide the innovation process that provided a much faster, more efficient route to the customer, changing the game of brewing craft beer by integrating a brewery with  conventional restaurant / bar infrastructure and equipment represents next level efficiency! Higher efficiency, less equipment and initial cost to purchase are the real Odyssey Brewmaster advantages , it integrates with onsite air cooling equipment to reduce the cost, space and complexity that is commonly required by conventional brewing equipment. The exclusive numerical brewing system called "Brew By Numbers" (BBN), is designed to do all the grunt work for you.  It's able to do all the important brewing functions directly via the advanced pneumatic valve control  system. It serves to reduce inherent problems associated with the more elaborate conventional equipment, which entails considerable movement of beer to and from various vessels and the additional physical work necessary to finish the product. The Odyssey Brewmaster utilizes a more hands off method of fluid route manipulation within the brew house and is responsible for making the brewing process faster, more accurate and less problematic. We got brewing down to a science by converting the entire brewing process to a simple,  systematic  procedure that is more conservative and natural in nature. That is something new that is certainly better than the way we conventionally make beer today.


Think of it as a "Keurig" for making beer, perfect every time by keeping it simple and automatic for the people who don't necessarily  know how to brew beer. It removes the mystery and guess work involved in brewing craft beer by streamlining and optimizing the way of brewing beer commercially, with greater efficiency comes more time to focus on perfecting recipes and developing new ones with 1/3 or 2/3 batch sizes to facilitate less costly experimentation.  ODYSSEY BREWMASTER  Vs CONVENTIONAL

The Odyssey Brewmaster is able to produce beer at a lower cost and higher speed because of it's reduced equipment requirements and shorter travel distances for the wort during the brewing process. The objective is get from grain to glass without the constraints of conventional equipment but with greater functionality. The new design enables beer to be made in this one all inclusive  "do it all" machine, eliminating the need for floor pumps,brewer hoses and CIP systems. The brewery process is not rocket science but making it all happen in such a small space certainly is.  The very specialized 3 vessel brewhouse gets you from ingredients to warm wort with relative ease. Elaborate manual processing of the beer is not necessary because the system is designed to do all the conventional brew house functions internally resulting in much less time, money and mess. Something new and better than conventional practice.


Packaging and transporting the product are avoided in this self sufficient brewing system. Effectively reducing cost by combining the wholesale and retail aspects of the craft beer business in this lucrative hybrid business model.A new and improved way of doing business.

A LOW COST COOLING ALTERNATIVE


Multi-Functional equipment must perform better than conventional to be a viable alternative. The Odyssey Brewmaster uses cooler chilled water to reduce the wort temperature after the boil. 165 gallons of chilled water passes through the heating dimple jacket in 1/2 an hour to perform the necessary cooing process in conjunction with the whirlpool, similar to stirring your coffee to cool it quicker. While no water is wasted in the process as the warm water water is returned to 3 empty drums and returned to the cooler afterwards to recharge the cold energy for the next brew.


Advantages includes reducing wort infection and mess by having the wort remain in the sterilized kettle during the cooling process. Holding the cooling power in 3 drums make for quick and consistent cooling times at virtually no additional cost because we are able to "Hold the Cold" generated by the walk-in cooler and easily transport it to the Odyssey Brewmaster for the cooling process. Something new and better.

ODYSSEY BREWMASTER  PHASE 2  PROCESSING  & DISTRIBUTION

The Odyssey Brewmaster uses a different route to get the beer to the customer, a faster one. That entails the use of our exclusive secondary (Phase 2) 55 gallon drum , that features a unique "2 Position"  vessel during fermentation and maturation to  effectively separate the yeast from the beer by gravity. The drum is placed horizontally during fermentation and vertically for maturation, serving and transfer of the beer to the 8 gallon Eco-kegs and the serving tap.


The drums feature dual adapters, one for each process. The PRV /Gauge adapter and  the Sankey D valve attachment for quick  hookup to the serving tap and also keeps the beer in a closed CO2 pressurized storage from start to finish, permitting less transfer of product and fewer vessels to clean to complete the process .The advanced drum vessel design can seamless get the warm wort through fermentation while filtering and carbonating the beer along the way with natural gravity and  CO2 capture. The key here is easy integration with existing infrastructure equipment to lower facility costs . A walk in cooler and an air conditioned fermentation room eliminates the complexity and cost of a glycol system to cool the beer. The more reliable air cooling and chilling removes the numerous potential problems of conventional glycol systems, why use water when air is much more efficient at cooling ? Once fermented , the drum is then moved to the cooler for maturation in the vertical position. The drum can now be tapped by any draft system to enjoy the freshest most natural craft beer possible. The Odyssey Brewmaster technology is an elegantly simple solution compared to the vast complexity and convoluted process of  conventional micro-breweries. New and improved.

ODYSSEY  BREWMASTER  PARTNER   :  FIRST ELEMENT KEGS

First Element Kegs are an eco-friendly alternative to conventional stainless steel kegs, they weigh much  less and are stackable to five high for effective use of cooler space. They complete the Odyssey  Brewmaster brewing concept for distribution. The advantage is that the beer gets a longer shelf life and greater carbonation stability by holding the beer in a gas free bladder. The keg is easily tapped with it's Sankey D valve and is pressurized via another outter bladder by the CO2 or air.


 Bottom line, no keg cleaning equipment as the bladder is recycled and no loss of product near the end of the keg. Saving money, work and product, while being kinder to the enviroment!  Now that sounds a lot like the Odyssey Brewmaster and a natural fit to complete and compliment our eco-friendly and sustainable brewing concept.

ODYSSEY BREWMASTER CONTROL SYSTEM

The Odyssey Brewmaster uses an original brewing control system called "Brew by Numbers". The BBN system enables anyone to brew expertly by making the process a  simple numeric procedure.  This unique control system allows the Odyssey Brewmaster to create numerous fluid routes within the closed loop brewing system that features four pump inlet and four outlet ports , The specific route required is activated via the "Dirty Dozen".

A 12 semi-automatic pneumatic valve system that does all the dirty work involved in brewing with a push of a button.


The entire brewing process is a well defined procedure and initiated by activation of the appropriate valve(s) within the 10 step brewing procedure. Starting with the Mash in and ending up with the warm wort being transferred to the secondary vessel for fermentation. Once fermentation is complete, the drum is then transferred to walk in cooler for maturation and then is tipped vertically "Tip & Tap" to be tapped for the draft system or Eco-keg, automating and decreasing brewing time considerably is key to making it more accessible to everyone.
